Tap Into Your Manifestation Super Power (Like THIS!)
Did you know you’re equipped with a manifestation superpower?
Imagine having the ability to shape a life you love, simply by tapping into this power. This is your reticular activating system. But don’t be swayed by the scientific terminology; it’s surprisingly straightforward to engage with.
You’re already using it, every single day, even if it’s happening under your radar!
The reticular activating system is your ally in the realm of the law of attraction and manifestation. Think of it as your brain’s filtration system, playing a pivotal role in how you process all of the sensory information you encounter daily. It’s been dubbed the gatekeeper of the conscious mind. It decides what sensory input gets noticed and what gets sidelined.
Given our constant bombardment with sensory data, the reticular activating system is indispensable. It ensures your brain isn’t overwhelmed by sifting through the influx of information to highlight what’s crucial and dismiss what’s not.
This system prioritizes based on your focus, creating a filter that aligns with your thoughts and beliefs. Then it scouts for information that matches those focused areas.
So, what’s the takeaway for law of attraction enthusiasts and manifesting aficionados?
When you dwell on negatives, your mind gets busy validating those negatives. Conversely, when you pivot towards positivity your mind seeks out more of that, reinforcing a positive loop.
The choice of habit is yours.
Harness this brain function to manifest your desires by steering it towards the positive. Meditation and visualization are your tools here, giving it new information so it can begin affirming that as your reality.
Here is an exercise that will help. This task is designed to make you consciously engage with your RAS, directing it to filter in positivity. By actively looking for positive elements, you’re training your brain to recognize and attract more positive experiences, aligning with the principles of the law of attraction and manifestation.
Morning (5-10 minutes):
- Set Your Focus: Begin your day by writing down or mentally noting three positive aspects or experiences you wish to notice or attract today. For instance, acts of kindness, moments of gratitude, or moment of success.
Throughout the Day:
Active Observation: As you go through your day, stay actively on the lookout for these positive aspects. Your goal is to spot them in your environment, in others, and in yourself.
Capture Moments: Whenever you observe a positive aspect, take a moment to acknowledge it. You can jot it down in a notebook, take a photo, or simply take a deep breath and mentally note the experience.
Evening (10-15 minutes):
Reflect and Journal: At the end of the day, reflect on the positive aspects you observed. Write them down in a journal or discuss them with someone. Note how focusing on these aspects influenced your mood, thoughts, and experiences throughout the day.
Gratitude Practice: Conclude your day by expressing gratitude for the positive aspects you observed and experienced. Recognize how your focus on positivity likely attracted more of the same into your day.
In essence, when you consistently focus on a desired outcome your brain aligns this built-in search mechanism to validate this belief. Your external reality then adapts to reflect your inner world, filling any gaps to ensure there is alignment.
Fascinating, right?
With commitment and focus, you can meditate or visualize your way into a new reality!
